Vision And Mission

In the leadership of its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, Central Sanskrit University has commenced a new Programme, namely, “LL.B. (Hons.) in Bharatiya Jurisprudence” in its Jaipur Campus with a very exceptional vision. The vision is exceptional in the sense that the Programme aims to integrate the wisdom of Bharatiya Jurisprudence with contemporary legal thought in order to engender ethical and culturally sensitive legal professionals.
The Programme also aspires to empower future legal professionals and leaders with a profound understanding of Bharatiya Jurisprudence which will enable them to uphold and protect justice, equity and social harmony within the framework of Indian values and traditions. Additionally, the mission of the aforesaid initiative is to lay down a foundation for establishing a Global Centre for the study of Bharatiya Jurisprudence which will foster cross-cultural discourse and enrich legal knowledge with the timeless wisdom of Indian legal tradition.
The vision ultimately intends to shape the future of Indian Legal System by grounding legal education in the rich heritage of Bharatiya Jurisprudence.
